Sketchbooking

More on-location sketches.  Except that these are for a class I'm taking on the subject (w/Ed Li).

Film studies from a certain sci-fi flick.  Care to take a stab at which film?

And lastly, some quick animal sketches from the San Diego Zoo recently.  Looked like there was another elementary school field trip taking place that day.  I didn't realize the "artist exhibit" would be quite popular with the kids at the zoo.  Talk about pandemonium!  :\

whoa, cool film compositional studies! Good way to get down some nice perspectives, compositions, values, etc.

... aww, all the other folk said the nice things... (h'rumph)

- oh well, I guess that leaves me the trivia, so, in regard to:
"Film studies from a certain sci-fi flick"
... is it Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner"?

Yes, the film studies, tho might not be the most exciting exercise, is definitely a worthwhile one and you can learn alot from them.

And Nigel, I thought the trivia was the best part actually! :) But sadly no one played along. :( Next time I should have prizes to give out like some free sketches...but not sure how much of a 'prize' that would actually be. -__-

Nigel: Oh and one more thing...Yes, it is indeed Blade Runner. A winner is you.
